Work the lather up!!

The brush is great for the price and density. I've purchased less dense badger brushes and found them to be lacking any possible lather build up. The size is great to work right out of the tub. Decent backbone to get you that lather you expect.

Wow! Fantastic brush at a super price. (Elegant "Ivory" handle)

Great brush. Loft has more than enough backbone to load a hard soap very easily, (Mitchells Wool Fat). A small amount of scritch, enough to 'work out' a two day beard, yet still feeling soft when face lathering. Lathers up VERY WELL, and doesn't "hog" it, really lets the lather flow with little effort. The handle is very comfortable to hold, and overall gives the brush an elegant aooerance, (the Vulfix logo on the "ivory" handle really looks fantastic). I have a 'super badger' brush which most days doesn't seem to have enough backbone...this pure badger grade hits the spot...yet another 'favourite brush'. Just a note, one review on here noted that the user experienced a grey colour when rinsing the brush...any new shave brush should be cleaned with a mild soap or a couple of test lathers should be done before using the new brush. There can be some residues on the hairs or bristles from whatever process is used at the factory for assembly and cleaning, etc. My brush did indeed turn the water in the mug I was initially 'cleaning' the brush in (using Ivory bar soap), a brownish-grey colour...it was no big deal, it took a minute or two to rinse out and the brush was good to go. As for the smell...this is normal for any brush, in fact, this pure badger from Vulfix has very LITTLE animal smell to it...and it should be gone by shave number 5, lol! Decent backbone with just enough scritch...nice and easy to lather...feels good on the face...elegant looking...all at very good price! Very happy with my purchase, would recommend this brush for sure. Well done Vulfix, and thanks Fendrihan!

A new favorite!

The brush is finished nicely and has a classy look. the handle is very comfortable and it lathers quite well. My favorite part is that the bristles are shorter than my other brushes which made it exponentially easier to load and gave me more control when applying the foam. It has quickly become my favorite shaving brush.

Honest opinion

I have to be honest be prepared to spend way too much time cleaning the smell out of these brushes. I have other Badger brushes and none of them smelled like the three I just bought from Vulfix. I wouldn’t go through that process again for such a cheap brush. It does lather quick on the Creams and yes its not as smooth on the face as my Silvertip but thats to be expected. Im fine with the handle and yes some hairs come out but thats expected. Im sorry but I would not buy this grade of Badger again mostly because of the stink.

This brush is trash

You get what you pay for. This is a horrible shaving brush - stinks to high Heaven when wet, the sink water turned mid-grey rinsing the shaving soap out of it and it lathers poorly and does a particularly poor job of distributing the lather on your face. I ended up buying a more expensive brush locally (I had already thrown out my previous brush), rather than use this one again. The brush I purchased was four times as much, but is clearly worthwhile. I don't disagree with the other reviews lauding Fendrihan's service, but can't believe anyone found this product anything but objectionable. For the record, my previous brush was a cheap one, but served me well for a couple of years. Seriously, reward yourself (and your face) with a better product.
