    • For hygienic reasons, no used products can be accepted. Merchandise damaged by the buyer is not eligible for refunds.

Acceptable

I was hoping to take this along for travel, but I normally use scent free shaving soap, and this one isn't that. So it will work for shaving purposes, but I won't replace it once I've used it up. Might be OK for the right customer.

Speick stick

Very nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities, still the old tallow base is why I bought a few more Speick sticks because they are bringing in a new base to replace the tallow version. A lot of European soap manufactures are going this way for what ever reason (new laws?).

GOOD

Incredible value. Good scent, decent (but not terrific) lather. It must be a refill for a dispenser because it comes with ridges on the side to be inserted into a twist tube or somethnig.

Blown away

Wow! I generally don't review products unless I have a lot of experience with them, but I have to make an exception here. I've just used this shave stick for the first time and I couldn't be more impressed. First off, I'm a huge Speick fan, and the scent is pretty much bang-on to the bar soap. Like the other Speick products, the fragrance doesn't linger too much after use, but leaves you feeling clean and refreshed with just a hint of that green, sage-y pepperiness afterwards. To be honest, this is my first time using shave soap in stick format, so I don't have much of a frame of reference, but my experience lived up to (if not exceeded) the expectations I'd formed by reading about the product online. Rubbed a reasonable amount on my face after a shower, and was able to quickly get a decent lather with a wet badger brush. Not the same volume of suds that I'm used to getting with creams in a bowl, but I'll chalk that (mainly) up to lack of experience. Nonetheless, the result was a slickness like I've rarely experienced before, and was able to perform an ultra-smooth 3-pass shave with VERY little irritation. Followed it up with my usual Proraso balm, so I don't have the most objective picture of the Speick's post-shave feel. But, even accounting for that, I don't sense that the Speick soap has had any drying effect on my face, and my skin is left feeling soft and nourished—as good as any cream I've used. Bravo! With performance, price, and portability like this, I'm seriously considering making the Speick shaving soap stick my new day-to-day go-to. Oh, and for those concerned about the flimsy packaging, I hear that this product fits PERFECTLY into an empty Speick deo stick container—will be trying this next!
