Great feel but not durable

I love the feel of the bristles and the brush makes a good lather. However, after the first use, the wood split near where the peg for the cord goes. I have continued to use it for 6 months and it has held together but the bristles have started to turn into a matted mess. I want to purchase another as I enjoy using it but I am concerned that the same problems will occur.

Very poor bristles

I bought this with a number of other items from Fendrihan. The bristles flattened out almost immediately, so it went from a brush to a, I don't know, a scratchy mop? Pity, because the wood is nice, it's made by people who are visually impaired and I'm all for supporting that, but the bristles are awful. Totally unlike a Kent brush that holds up. If they can remedy the bristles it would be good, otherwise, after one the bristles were all splayed out like a dish brush you see in sinks that is about 2 years past its prime.
