Best brush you can buy!

This is hands down the best shaving brush in my experience. If you use a shaving soap then this is definitely for you. If you are unsure, then this is the brush for you. This is two banded, which means the third band is in the handle, stiffening this brush up. The hairs are also a bit courser. What this all means is that it creates a very rich lather. Soft brushes, although comfortable, are only good for soft creams. This brush is very versatile and good for all soaps and creams. The coarser brush is great for exfoliating and really getting lather deep on your face. I have used it for almost a year and absolutely love it. Looks exactly the same as when i bought it, maybe lost 1 hair. Cherry wood is beautiful and the engraved logo is great. Don't hesitate and just buy this right away! Compared to other brushes it's well worth the price.

Love this handcrafted gem!

All I can say is that this brush makes me happy every time I pick it up. It seriously has me looking forward to my shave. I never would have believed I could become attached to a brush. Then my wonderful wife researched brushes and surprised me with my Semogue for Christmas. Nice!

OMG Good Morning - this is what a shaving brush should be. Semogue Owners Club 2-Band Badger Hair Shaving Brush, Cherry Wood

Firstly, I rarely give reviews, I’ve only had this brush for a couple of weeks. I think is safe to say that this brush is awesome!!!. It really makes my shaving experience much more enjoyable every day. I have a good feeling that this brush will last for a very long time as well. I’ve used it with cream soap as well as various solid soaps, it’s phenomenal. Fantastic creamy foam with little work. I use it with "FEN-MUG-DARKB" Fendrihan Porcelain Shaving Mug. The brush is firm and retains its shape while working up a lather in the mug and on my face. I have several other brushes to compare with including an Edwin Jagger Best Badger which is a good brush but does not hold a candle next to this Semogue. I also have a Vie-Long Horse Hair Brush which is a disaster. Omega boar brush which is okay. If you only want one brush and do not want to blow the bank, this is the brush to get. It should last a very long time if you treat it right. The construction is second to none, the finish beautiful, no smell, no breaking in, it goes to work on day one and will look great in your bathroom. Most importantly the quality lather produced will make you look forward to shaving in the morning.

Semogue OC Badger

One of my favourite badger brushes. Looks beautiful and performs amazingly well once it breaks in. It has excellent backbone and so produces a thick, creamy lather every time you use it. You won't be disappointed.
