    • For hygienic reasons, no used products can be accepted. Merchandise damaged by the buyer is not eligible for refunds.

Excellent razor!

I opened the package and was surprised how small and light this razor was. Loaded it up with one of the Feather blades that came with the razor. I had a great shave. No nicks! Very close shave. I am extremely pleased with this finely tuned instrument. It was very expensive but I suspect there isn’t a better razor on the market. Best shave EVER!

A Masterpiece of Engineering!

Quite simply - a joy to use. My preference had always gravitated to select aggressive straights, SE's & DE's. I have been a fan of Feather blades for many years though. With a light touch, proper use and technique the AS-D2 delivers Shave Results that quite literally leave me Smiling! Post Shave irritation is almost entirely absent, even with XTG & ATG passes. Superb Point of Purchase & Customer Service from the folks at Fendrihan. 5 Stars all the way!

Fantastic Razor

Clean, close shave every time, very comfortable razor. This was the first DE razor I've used and I've had no nicks or cuts yet!

My first razor

I don't have much of a basis for comparison as this was my first razor; it was quite a commitment in price, but I feel like it was money well spent as I doubt I'd ever need to replace the razor. Some of the reviews I had read stated this was a very pleasant razor to use especially for less experienced shavers. I've used it with feather razor blades and it's real easy on the skin and barely requires more than one pass. I can't imagine a shave being any smoother. It's a beautiful object when planted in it's base, suitable for leaving out.

beautiful razor and stand

Pro: very solid, marine grade stainless steel 316, good balance, excellent grip, stand is solid stainless steel, blades fits perfectly (feather) Con: very pricey, you kind of got to adjust shaving technique. Coming from an Edwin Jagger to this, the first 3 shave i cut myself and not notice until i wash my face (probably 5,6 nicks), i guess i was trying to do a 45 degree (as instructed) instead of the 30 degree. On the 4 and 5 shave no cuts or nick, because i decided to shave like a normal razor at 30-40 degrees, yes it does feel more mild. i would say start by shaving normal and increasing the angle for more aggression until you find the right angle that works for you. But here the thing, on the second pass going across the grain i can get a very close shave without irritation. On my edwin jagger i was not able to achieve such a close shave without bleeding or irritation. An excellent razor but you need time to learn what you would assume.
