Beyond Expectation

This razor is an absolute dream. I can't believe it only costs $50.00. I placed a Personna Medical Blade (my favourite) and got the finest shave I've ever experienced. The same blade in my previous (lower cost) razor performed well but the shave was ordinary compared to the experience I had with this razor. Normally three passes are too much for my sensitive neck and under the chin area. With this razor I had no problem with three passes and even performed a fourth. I was left with no skin irritation - and I do mean none. My face was absolutely baby smooth. This razor would be a great starter for the beginner as well as a serious upgrade for the mare advanced wet shavers. Always try different blades until you are satisfied. I must compliment Fendrihan. They carry an excellent product line, ship quickly, price fairly and their packaging (for shipping) is noteworthy and a further testament to their overall professionalism. (Thanks Gladys!!!!!!!) Lets put it this way.."I would never go back to any other razors". The safety razor(My first SAFETY RAZOR) is beautiful,Shiny Chrome,beautifully crafted and the weight of it is just right. Never used this type of razor but I am sure glad I did..I'm thinking of purchasing a second with a 4" handle. The shaving experience is amazing. The blade shaves my "coarse hair" with no pulling..blade is not even dull after 2 weeks of shaving. "love the logo"on it.

Beautiful well-made razor

The Dacian Draco is very similar to the Edwin Jagger/Muhle 89 with a beautifully chrome plated finish and a stylish Draco Dragon and Fendrihan logo etched on the head.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a much larger handle. We have some handles that are slightly larger at 3.3".

How does this razor compare the FENDRIHAN "SCIENTIST" FULL STAINLESS STEEL SAFETY RAZOR in terms of aggression?

Hi Machael - this razor is closed comb, whereas the Scientist has an open and a closed comb head. That means the scientist has the potential to provide a more aggressive shave. The Scientist is also features a stainless steel head.

I haven�۪t received it yet but the Draco Dragon should be the same as the Edwin Jagger 89/ Muhle 89 - both are considered mild. They appear to have the same head. Check out the Badger and Blade forum to see about the Fendrihan Scientist. The Scientist has an open and closed comb so it will vary depending on which side you use.

Dear Sir or Madam I am looking to add a safety razor to my collection of razors and noticed this model. I would like to have some additional information about. Can you tell how this razor compares to other safety razors like the Merkur HD34c, 38c or Edwin Jagger 89 in aggression?

This razor is very similar to an Edwin Jagger 89. So, it will be slightly milder than a Merkur 34C or 38C.
