This product saved my hair!!

About a month ago I was losing my hair. During shower my hand would be full of hair. I was literally going bald. Every night I was tossing and turning in my bed, wondering why this is happening to my hair and why am I going bald. I had hair on my pillow every morning I woke up. So I had to do something about it. I went to my family doctor for help, and all he said was it's the nature of your body. Nothing you can do to stop the balding. I did not accept that for an answer. So I came across this product. I have used it for a month daily after shower. I applied it to my hair and brush my hair for about 3 minutes. Not only my hair stopped to fall, I am actually growing my bold spots again. Everyone keep on asking me how is your hair getting thick again, just few months ago you were going bald. This product has saved my life as my hair is so important to me. THANK YOU FENDRIHAN for providing such a night quality product.

No effect

The ingredients are identical to the DR Harris Bay Rum aftershave. No effect whatsoever on my hair besides the scent. I use it as aftershave, which seems to have the same alcohol and fragrance potency as the aftershave at half the price. I won't be buying again but this is a quality product with quality ingredients.

Hmmmm

i would love to review it. I give it three stars because the packaging looks pretty. But I have no idea how to use the product. Do I just dump it on my head. Do I eat it and allow it to filter through my pores. Isn't that what the back of packages are supposed to be for, instructions for use?

Hi Glynn, It depends on the look you are going for. Hair lotion without oil like this product will generally give a mild hold but will help moisturize the hair. D.R. Is this great product? Yes. Will it leave your hair smelling great and looking healthy? Yes. Can it be used as a tonic as well as styling product? I would say not so much. It really depends on your hair and the look you are going for but for me I use it along with a pomade. I wash my hair, apply the hair lotion let it sink in and dry out a bit then finishing styling with a bit of pomade. Baxters of California has some decent pomades that are available at Fendrihan but the best pomades I have used are made by Gatsby called moving rubber and they have ones for lots of different styles and hair types. You can check them out at gatsyglobal.com and purchase on Amazon. For me the winning combo is DRH hair lotion without oil and the Gatsby Grunge Mat pomade. This is a fantastic product that should only be sold to sophisticated people who exude charm and class. In fact, just using it might be enough to put the average gentleman over the line into the realm of sophisticated urbanity that we all are striving to attain.

This product adds scent, while the oil helps me with dry and itchy scalp during our dry winter. I find no hold properties at all and have not found it to make my hair shiny. The other product I use for a bit of hold is the Men-U leave in conditioner. Light hold and soft hair.
