- To load, open the head by turning the screw counterclockwise
- Load 1-3 blades; Top = Mild; Top & Middle = Mild to Aggressive; Top, Middle, & Bottom = Aggressive
- Tighten the head by turning the screw clockwise

Only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because it’s very difficult to use without an upgrade to the handle…which I personally find offensive. Improve on the handle & charge a little more. A whole lotta fun and infinitely customiable.

I Know this is a very popular razor for the head, but i actually use it on my face. It does an amazing job. I get perfect BBS shaves with blades that aren't even my best BBS blade choices in my other razors as a rule. It is stunningly customizable. The three slots all have different aggressiveness so you can go a little safer or a little more aggressive just by choosing the blade slots and number of blades you use, and of course different blades preform differently just like any safety razor - so with just a little experimenting you can dial it in to be perfect for your situation. There is a small learning curve - you still want to use fairly minimal pressure and not push as hard as a cartridge razor which means don't press down and try to make the pivot do all the work - still 'drag' it across your face instead of pushing down with just enough flex and pressure to let the pivot follow your contours. It's a little awkward in the tighter spaces but manageable, it's just fun to use and very easy to quickly learn to get repeatable results. Like i said expect to play with blades and positions till you find the perfect set up. I find the bottom and middle slot filled with bic platinums are giving me consistent and easily repeated results. And i mean absolute BBS, no strays, can't even feel the slightest stubble till the next day kind of shaves. Perfect for the every other day (or two) shaver And that's with bics! I'm genuinely a little frightened to try a feather in there :) I leave the top slot empty but i did try the top and the middle with the bics and found it gave a less aggressive shave but a good one. A good choice perhaps with a more aggressive blade. The razor is fun to use, cool to look at, effective as heck and unbelievably versatile and of course Fendrihan's shipping and service was it's usual high quality and i couldn't find it for a lower price anywhere else. Not a bad choice also for someone who's just getting into the game and wants a shorter learning curve (still has a learning curve tho) Now i just wish Fendrihan would carry the twig line from leaf as well.

A great head shaver

I am glad Fendrihan is stocking products from Leaf Shave Co. I've used this razor to shave my head for over a year now. It has a nice weight to it and the pivoting head makes a difference for head shaving. Like the note in the description, I load 1-2 blades in middle and top and leave the bottom one blank. The key to using it is not to apply pressure to the razor as you shave, you just let the razor glide across the skin. I use Clubman Pinaud Head Shave Gel. I've use different brands of blade in it without any problems.

Great Beard Shampoo

Was looking for a new beard shampoo and tried this out. It works really good on my long thick beard. Cleans great and leaves a very nice scent. I paired it with their beard oil and this combination works very nicely for me. Just ordered more.

After ditching shaving oil (bad for the drain!) I needed another preshave, so tried this gel. I was a tad skeptical, but man, this stuff works, superbly. A little goes a long way, and helps provide an incredibly close and smooth shave. Worth every cent.

Whips up into a nice fluffy lather and smells like spearmint. I bought the 8oz jar and because you only need a small amount I surmise it will last a long time, good value I'd say. The crown after shave balms are awesome too.

Nice scent & Soothing

It reminds of Crown After shave balm but with a different scent, a pleasant scent. It is non greasy, soaks in ******, has the witches of hazel in it and a little goes a long way. I'll buy it again when it runs out.
